Agora de la danse and Tangente
The Prix de la danse de Montréal, RÉVÉLATION category, comes with a $5,000 grant. It is awarded to a Québec choreographer, performer, or collaborator (lighting, sound, scenography, etc.) who took part in a work presented in Montréal during the season preceding the award and who was considered a revelation for the dance community.

The board of directors of the PRIX DE LA DANSE DE MONTRÉAL is responsible for annually appointing members of an independent jury whose mandate is to attend dance works presented on the Montréal stage between July 1 and June 30 of the previous season, and to determine the winner of:

- the Prix de la danse de Montréal, INTERPRÈTE categorythe
- the Prix de la danse de Montréal, RÉVÉLATION category
