LE PRIX DU CALQ - MEILLEURE ŒUVRE CHORÉGRAPHIQUE - Best Choreographic Work Award

This prize comes with a $10,000 grant and highlights the excellence of a work by a Québec choreographer presented for the first time on stage in Québec during a season. It is open to choreographers from all regions of Québec. The laureate is selected by a jury of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.

JURY
Each year, the award-winning work is selected from the applications received during the summer of the current year, following a call launched across all regions of Québec. The recipient of the CALQ Prize for the best choreographic work of the season is chosen by a peer committee. The management of the prize and its selection process are independent from the PRIX DE LA DANSE DE MONTRÉAL and are overseen entirely by the CALQ.
