Relive the Moving 2025 PRIX DE LA DANSE DE MONTRÉAL Ceremony

Montreal, November 27, 2025 — Relive the fifteenth edition of the Prix de la danse de Montréal with the full recording, now available to watch. Held at the William Gray Hotel during the Parcours Danse biennial, this event left its mark on Montreal’s cultural history by celebrating the artists, works, managers and partners who keep dance alive in the city and beyond.

A major turning point, a moment of grace

The opening of the ceremony offered a powerful moment of transmission. Mélanie Demers, the new chair of the board of directors, took the stage to thank the founder of the Prix de la danse de Montréal, Marie Chouinard, inviting her up for a warm ovation from the community. This strong gesture of collegiality set the tone for a late morning filled with words of love for our community, in an atmosphere of shared celebration.
