The GRAND PRIX DE LA DANSE DE MONTRÉAL comes with a $25,000 grant. This prize is awarded to dance artists—Canadian or international—for an outstanding contribution to dance. The winner(s) must have presented a choreographic work within the territory of the City of Montréal between July 1 and the following June 30.

The board of directors of the PRIX DE LA DANSE DE MONTRÉAL is responsible for annually appointing members of an independent jury whose mandate is to attend dance works presented on the Montréal stage between July 1 and June 30 of the previous season, and to determine the winner of:
