Ariane Voineau

Elias Djemil | Sous la feuille

Originally from Brittany, Ariane trained at the Nantes and Angers conservatories and at Ballet Junior de Genève. Based in Quebec City since 2008, she is actively involved in her community. She works with established and emerging choreographers as well as on multidisciplinary projects. She has co-created several works, created a piece for young children, Sous la feuille, and co-directed two short dance films. She is a member of the multidisciplinary collective LAS and also acts as artistic adviser and rehearsal director for various projects. She collaborates with Marseilles-based performance company la fêlure as an associate artist. Curious to discover new practices, Ariane continues to hone her skills both here and abroad. Committed to artist development, she was in charge of programming, communications, and registration at L'Artère, art de la danse et du mouvement for ten years. After chairing the board of directors, she is now co-executive director and artistic director of this non-profit organization.
